The skinny: Our third-place sale this week is by far the handsomest. The Mediterranean-style villa at 235 San Anselmo is full of grandeur: box-beam ceilings, carved-wood doors, archways galore, and an unusual but still pretty colonnaded balcony over the stair. There are even mosaics on the stair risers. The swoonfest comes to somewhat of a halt in the kitchen, which is colder and sparer than the rest of the home, but it's nothing a coat of paint and a more thoughtful lighting scheme couldn't fix.
