However, the kitchen opens effortlessly onto a patio, and the vaulted ceilings upstairs make for a cozy set of bedrooms and a bathtub so irresistible looking that it makes metallic geometric wallpaper seem like a universally good idea, always.

After that strategy failed, the home raised its price back up to $3.398 million (reverse psychology?) and that sealed the deal.
